About
I am an associate professor of U.S. and environmental history, and chair of the History Department. My own research focuses on public lands and resources in the North American West. I have published books and articles on wilderness preservation, but recently my focus has turned to the development and management of groundwater.
I also serve as the editor of the peer-reviewed journal, /Idaho Yesterdays/, published by the Idaho State Historical Society. This is an online journal, available at: http://idahoyesterdays.org.
